The studio Architetti Associati C. Ricci & P.A. Val was founded in Conegliano, Tv, Italy in the 1981. It works on planing projects, residential, industrial, commercial buildings and interior design.
The studio follows the project in all its parts, from the creative phase to the executive project, to the building constructions direction. Over the years, their projects are been published in main Italian Specialized Reviews of Architecture, like Casabella, Domus, Abitare, Ville e Giardini, Vogue. Their projects are been shown in international exibithions: Architecture Biennale of Venice in 2002, New Italian Architecture from 1996 to 1997, and others.

Graduated in 1980 at IUAV University in Venice and worked at Studio Gregotti Associati in Venice, from 1980 to 1983. From 1981 to 1999 taught and carried out researches at IUAV with V. Gregotti. Collaborated with Alvaro Siza in his design Class taught at IUAV University in the scholar year 86/87.
Pierantonio Val for many years has taught architectural design at IUAV University of Venice as fixed-term professor. From 2000 to 2003 and in 2012 he has taught at the architecture faculty of Politecnico di Miano. Carried out teaching activities in Italy and in various Foreign Universities as: Hannover University, Pennsylvania University, l’Escola Tecnica Superior de Arquitectura de Barcellona at Universidad Politecnica della Catalunya, l’Institut Superieur d’Arquitecture de Bruxelles, Escola Tecnica Superior de Arcquitectura de San Sebastian, Escuela tecnica superior de arquitectura de Sevilla, Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’architecture Marseilles, preparing and teaching intensive classes. Pierantonio’s academic interests have researched the relationship between architecture with the context, theory and praxis, didactic intention and design accuracy, by comparing his professional experience with the descriptions offered by the numerous disciplines together with the rapid transformation of the architectural tradition. Has contributed in numerous specialised magazines, both Italian and foreign, and his designs have won many national and international competitions. Pierantonio’s designs have been exposed in many European and American’s exhibitions. Many of Pierantonio’s developed designs have been published in many international Magazines as A class and have been prized both in Italy and Europe.
Pierantonio has been Scientific Research Manager of Academic Researchers, in different universities. He is member of editorials scientific books collections and he is an essayist. Among his publication are found: Venezia città del moderno (<>, 22, Bologna 1985), Quale architettura all’interno della prassi (Venezia 1989), Relazione e distanza (Padova 2007). Pierantonio has been fixed-term researcher at IUAV University of Venice and he is currently visiting professor at Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’architecture Paris Val de Seine. He achieved eligibility to be permanent professor.

Graduated in Venice in 1981. Collaborate with studio Gregotti Associati of Milan and of Venice from 1981 to 1983. Since 1981, she is partner of the studio Associate Architects in Conegliano, TV, Italy.
Take part to the European conference “Zimt 09” in Linz, Austria about the cultural responsibility of female architects and engineering consultants and to the conference organized by “WIA: Women In Architecture”, RIBA, London, for the promotion of the debate about the rules of women in architecture, in 2009.
